Infrastructure New Zealand (INZ) has long campaigned for an independent, evidence-based, long-term infrastructure plan. It’s a call many New Zealanders will recognise as overdue, and we strongly support.
This election, INZ has gone a step further: asking every party standing to state clearly what they will commit to. Each party receives the same survey, on the same day, with the same deadline — eight sections, one per manifesto priority, thirty-five position statements in total. Parties’ answers determine INZ’s ratings, and each party sees its own assessment before INZ publishes the full results on 23 October.
