We stock a wide range of welding electrodes to suit most welding applications.
Popular brands in New Zealand which we stock include CIGWELD electrodes such as Ferrocraft, Satincraft; WELDWELL electrodes e.g. PH77, PH28; and CHOSUN electrodes including LH100, LC318, CR13.
We are proud to be the sole authorised distributor of CHOSUN welding electrodes in New Zealand.
CHOSUN is a Korean company with strong links to KOBELCO STEEL (KOBE STEEL) of Japan, including technological alliances for the manufacture of welding wires and covered electrodes. CHOSUN electrodes, MIG and TIG wires have been manufactured to meet the Japanese JIS standards for over 40 years and also certified to European ISO standards. Ships Classifications are available for most CHOSUN products.
CHOSUN welding electrodes and wires have been used for a number of years in New Zealand with much success, testament to the quality of manufacture. The quality and economy of cost ensures their on-going popularity.

Excellent multi-purpose electrode, user friendly.
Cigwelds most popular GP electrode, all-positional except vertical downwelding.
Gives smooth, clean mitre fillet welds with very low spatter level.

AWS: A5.1 E6013
Rutile – basic type electrode, all-positional except for vertical down.
Noted for its improved radiographic weld deposit soundness and impact toughness.
Particularly suited to site and workshop welding where stronger impact toughness and meeting radiographic requirements are a priority, e.g. tanks, pressure vessels, ship building.
