For sitework you need a welding machine and feeder unit that is, above all: convenient and robust. On the LORCH MX350, all components that carry an important control function are housed safely inside the power source and protected from physical damage, water ingress and dust build-up well beyond the industry standard. The Germans build them tough to last!
The operating panel is straightforward and clearly arranged and is ideal both for manual operation and the synergic mode of the MX 350. If using the synergic mode, you can set such basic parameters as the characteristic curve, the operating mode, crater filling, etc. directly at the power source. You can adjust the voltage setting either at the system or the optional wire feeder if using.
The LORCH X 350 can be used to weld with basic, rutile and special electrodes diameter of up to 8 mm and can handle vertical down-welding operations with cellulose electrodes (CEL). Hotstart, Anti-Stick and Arc-Force regulation makes it easy – but it’s the MicorBoost Technology that gives the power.

LORCH’s unique patented MicorBoost technology contributes to an almost perfect weld curve and acts like a turbocharger on a car engine.
Based on internal oscillations of energy and monitored by micro-controllers 1.5 million times every second, the result is increased storage of voltage and power. This process gives absolute precision control and reduces the size and weight of the inverter whilst greatly improving performance.
It can store power, so when extra is needed for large electrode welding or gouging, its available. The stored power reserves also even out power variability and maintain a very stable and powerful arc, even on cables up to 200 metres long.
