After attending the Schweissen & Schneiden International Trade Fair for Joining, Cutting & Surfacing in Germany in 2017, Welding Engineers (NZ) Ltd representatives were very impressed with both the current and future capabilities of LORCH welding machines and subsequently became an agent for LORCH in New Zealand. The LORCH MicorMig and S Series ranges of industrial welding machines are designed and manufactured in Germany, smart technology, Industry 4.0 ready, future upgradable, robust industrial machines.
At the 2023 Schweissen & Schneiden Fair, we saw the latest LORCH Cobot UR10e with the Linear Move Axis adding 4.5 metres of reach, and the LORCH integrated turn and tilt rotator. The only Welding Cobot with coordinated motion, the Cobot and external axis – rotary positioner or linear axis – move in sync as directed on the Cobot control panel. Coordinated motion enables fabricators to weld larger or more complex parts without having to manually reposition the work piece or cobot, much more efficient and enables the Cobot to weld bigger and more complex parts.
