New in 2018, LORCH has made the pulse function accessible and affordable without sacrificing the quality of performance. As with the MicorMIG range, The MicorMIG Pulse is available in compact or remote wire feed models, gas or water-cooled, in the 300-500 amp range.
MicorMIG Pulse is the easy start into the world of Pulse welding
MicorMIG Pulse arc combined with quick-action control technology – no matter if you weld steel, stainless or aluminium, pulse will improve your weld to a flawless finish and reduce rework. Having the right short arc, pulsed arc or spray arc for any job reduces the time spent changing wires. Pulse gives you a big advantage, particularly on thin sheetwork where you can weld without distortion or burnthrough. Minimizes spatter and rework, greatly increased efficiency – especially when paired with the right filler materials.
Operating Control
Like the MicorMIG range, choose between three operating control panels:
- Basic – controlled manually by volts and wire speed (amperage), not upgradable.
- Basic Plus – synergic control i.e. the machine automatically sets the volts, amps, and wire feed speed based on the selected material, material thickness, filler metal and process. Upgradable, can read NFC cards (Near Frequency Communication), easy to read digital display.
- Control Pro – the same synergic control as the Basic Plus, fully upgradable, can read and write NFC cards and has a tiptronic memory for up to100 welding jobs.
LORCH’s Near Frequency Communication technology makes it simple to load jobs with WPS parameters set, control user access to adjust machine settings, upgrade processes, or programmes with a swipe of a card. For a workshop supervisor with a number of machines to monitor and data to record, achieving quality welds and arc-time efficiency is made easy.
MicorBoost
The unique, patented MicorBoost technology contributes to an almost perfect weld curve and acts like a turbocharger on a car engine: maximum power is invoked from the smallest of spaces. Based on internal oscillations of energy and monitored by micro-controllers 1.5 million times every second, the result is increased storage of voltage and power. This process gives absolute precision control and reduces the size and weight of the inverter whilst greatly improving performance.

Ready for Speed
- SpeedUp sets a new standard for vertical upwelding of solid wire – no weaving or oscillation required, just simple constant pull up. Easier, faster and better root penetration and throat thickness.
- SpeedArc creates a focussed, increased arc pressure using enormous energy density. This flows into the weld pool and results in up to 30% faster welding speeds, improved penetration and high deposition rates. Better yet, the highly concentrated stable arc of the SpeedArc can also be used with long stick out for welding into narrow joints.
