SF-50WN is an all-positional, seamless, copper-coated flux cored welding wire manufactured by Nippon Steel Welding & Engineering Co. Ltd.
Specifically for use welding Nippon Steel Corporation’s 3% Ni-Added Coastal Weathering Steel, NAW-TEN15. The composition of SF-50WN matches the composition of NAW-TEN15, so the weathering characteristics are the same. Use of any other filler metal to weld NAW-TEN15 is not recommended. The unique method of seamless manufacture ensures even flux for best quality welding and superior crack-resistance.The seamless design and copper coating ensure an extremely low diffusible hydrogen content, typically 2.8ml/100g of weld metal.This is an advanced technology wire which our trials show welds very smoothly and easily with no spatter and perfect bead appearance.
